DESCRIPTION:Five-Day Training Description:\nThis five-day\, in-person training in Asheville\, NC is an in-depth training on how to use the IFS model in a group therapy format. The training is based on Chris’s book\, Creating Healing Circles: Using the Internal Family Systems Model in Facilitating Groups and is designed to teach participants skills and techniques in using IFS in a group setting. The training will form a working group of 10 participants who will do in-depth internal work as well as practice implementing the facilitator skills outlined in the book with an emphasis on sculpting. Participants will get immediate feedback from Chris while practicing facilitating in-depth IFS groups. This training is designed for IFS Institute Level One trained practitioners who are committed to providing IFS Healing Circles. \nLearning Outcomes for the Creating Healing Circles® In-person Training: \n\nDiscuss various formats and/or themes for IFS groups\nDevelop a greater understanding of group dynamics and the stages of group development\nLearn the key group facilitator skills for using IFS in a group format\nDiscover the effectiveness of working with intentions\nPractice leading experiential exercises in a group format\nExplore the Self of the Facilitator and Parts that arise in live\, group dynamics\nAwareness of the group field and safe ways to clear personal and legacy burdens\n\nDetails:\n\nNote: This workshop is offered privately with Chris and is not an IFSI Level II training.\nMust be IFS Institute Level One trained practitioners with a commitment to providing IFS in a group setting.\nLocation: Asheville\, NC\nDate: Friday\, April 24th – Tuesday\, April 28th\, 2026\nTime: 9:00am – 5:00pm ET (Friday – Monday); 9:00am – 4:00pm (Tuesday)\nProgram Cost: $2\,800 USD\nOne Virtual Session: Two hours\, Friday\, April 10th\, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm ET (Eastern Time)\nCancellation Policy: Note that if a refund is made\, regardless of when it is made\, there is a 3% processing fee deducted from the refund amount. Cancellations for a full refund (minus the processing fee) can be made four weeks (28 days) before the first day of the training. Cancellation made three weeks (21 days) before the first day of the training will receive 50% refund (minus the processing fee). No refunds within 20 days of the training. Registrations cannot be moved to another training.\nOnce registered\, additional information will be sent to the group regarding travel and logistics information.\nThirty-one (31) CE credits available for this training (additional cost). Burris Counseling Services has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider\, ACEP No. 7949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Burris Counseling Services is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
