
Workshop Description:
As IFS practitioners develop proficiency with the IFS model, working systemically becomes essential in the ability to hear and understand the unfolding landscape with the client. Working systemically involves the practitioner’s ability to hear and recognize internal patterns both internally (eg. polarizations, constraints, coalitions, patterns, and legacy burdens) as well as externally (eg. systems of oppression, external constraints, and introjected threats). Learning to slow down and tease out the context, strategy, relationships, and influence of the Protector parts supports a deeper and clearer unfoldment of the therapeutic process.
In this workshop, we explore how to listen deeply to the client’s experience and support their creative unfoldment. We will also address how to work safely with traumatic memory and support the client’s pacing to reduce suffering and disruption. Participants must be IFS Institute Level One or higher trained practitioners.

- Time: 10:00am – 5:00pm (EST) – Break from 1:00pm – 2:00pm both days
- Workshop Cost: $400 USD
- This workshop is designed for live interaction and, therefore, will not be recorded.

- Cancellation Policy: Note that if a refund is requested, regardless of when it is requested, there is a 3% Stripe processing fee deducted from the refund amount. Cancellations for a full refund (minus the processing fee) can be made up to seven days prior to the event. Cancellations made three to six days before the workshop will receive a 50% refund (minus the processing fee). No refund within 48 hours of the event. Event registrations are non transferable. (ie. registrations cannot be moved to another workshop if canceled.)
- Twelve (12) CE credits available for this training (additional cost). Burris Counseling Services has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7949.
