Workshop Description:
This four-day, in-person workshop is designed to allow participants the opportunity to explore using the IFS Model in a group format. It is open to all IFS Institute Level I trained practitioners as well as IFS Informed practitioners who have attended an IFS Introductory workshop, worked with an IFS therapist, attended IFS Online Circle, and/or engaged with IFS books or podcasts. Using Chris’s book, Creating Healing Circles®: Using Internal Family Systems Model in Facilitating Groups as a guide, this workshop will explore the following:
- Introduction to the various formats and/or themes for IFS groups
- Discovering the effectiveness of working experientially in a group format
- Discussing several of the key group facilitator skills for using IFS in a group format
- Learning how to create the group container to support deeper healing, including the aspects of group dynamics and the stages of group development
- Experience live demonstrations of IFS sculpting and other experiential exercises in a group format
- Breakout groups to allow practice in facilitating IFS group experiential exercises
The IFS model is a valuable tool in conducting group therapy because it allows for a real-time interplay of Parts being actively engaged in ways that are not always possible in individual therapy. Groups provide access to Parts that are active in both internal and relational dynamics.

- This workshop is open to all IFS Institute Level I trained practitioners as well as IFS Informed practitioners who have attended an IFS Introductory workshop, worked with an IFS therapist, attended IFS Online Circle, and/or engaged with IFS books or podcasts.
- This workshop is offered privately with Chris and is not an IFSI Level II training.

- Language: Workshop will be in English with Arabic translators (using consecutive translation)
- Certificate of participation will be available following the participant’s completion of the workshop. Certificate can be used toward IFSI certification.

- If the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of places, a lottery system will be used for selecting participants.
- Cancellation Policy: Note that if a refund is made, regardless of when it is made, there is a 3% processing fee deducted from the refund amount. Cancellations for a full refund (minus the processing fee) can be made 21 days before the first day of the workshop. No refunds within 20 days of the first day of the workshop.
